It is often easier to see something about others than it is to see something about ourselves.

Group Therapy is a fantastic way to learn with others, it is cost and treatment effective. We often have similar experiences. The time for stigma associated with sadness and worry is over. Everyone in the very least knows someone who struggles with sadness, worry, addiction, conflict, guilt, stress or anger. In group we can discuss openly what we may feel shame about elsewhere; reducing the power of shame.

This is often a powerful experience when handled in a responsible, skilled, and confidential manner. I invite you to join me in a group. Confidentiality is discussed prior to the first session, during the first session, and through-out the group. Everyone needs to feel free to speak, and so everyone must commit to not speaking to others about what happens in a group.

Multiple Family Therapy: Following a family assessment, weekly ongoing therapy, with other families, working toward and supporting others to work toward goals

Parenting the Adolescent: Parenting support group. 2 weeks of lecture followed by 8 weeks of support group

Psychotherapy: (Depression + Anxiety) ongoing weekly group therapy

CBT Group: 12 weeks. Limited self-disclosure, skill-based and practical

Meditation: 5 weeks lecture and training with optional 5 weeks practice and Q+A. (private training also available)

When thoughts and feelings are viewed as unacceptable, we may separate ourselves from the supports and people we need the most. Therapy helps to address and resolve difficult thoughts and feelings. In this way therapy changes the thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and meanings that can hold us captive.
