COVID-19

'Drop-in' Video Health Care Debrief and Single Session

Single Session is a next step intervention for non-crisis situations. In this thirty minute appointment, the primary concern or problem will be identified, available resources appreciated, new resources recommended, and next steps identified.

First Responder/Hospital Staff:

in this thirty minute appointment, first responders', and care providers overwhelmed with COVID-19 can narrate or story tell their problematic, or concerning experience. Through this discussion resources and next steps may be identified, however the primary purpose of this resource is to get concerning experiences, "off your chest", so that you can feel more at ease or 'free' to resume your important work while managing difficult experiences.

Existential Psychotherapy

Often the meaning, understanding, choices, and assumptions we generate in reaction to: life and death, gain and loss, the familiar and unfamiliar, and certain and uncertain are consistent with the social/cultural as well as families we have grown-up in. Exploring within the safety of a therapeutic relationship can set you free to appreciate your experience as you realize it.

Short-term Counseling

Brief: Therapy is meant to fulfill a purpose and help you to reach a goal, four to twelve sessions. Brief therapy is short-term, goal based, and specific to your needs.

Grief: Change of any type involves loss. Not only in the world around you, but inside of you also. If this change remains with you in a way that makes regular functioning difficult, I can help. I am a Bereavement Educator.

Trauma

Trauma Therapy: Often the unacceptable prevents moving on with life. Trauma can be something that has happened to us, or something witnessed. The stress of this type of experience can be staggering, impacting relationships, sleep, functioning, work, and self-esteem. I can help. CBT, Talk Therapy, EMDR.

When thoughts and feelings are viewed as unacceptable, we may separate ourselves from the supports and people we need the most. Therapy helps to address and resolve difficult thoughts and feelings. In this way therapy changes the thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and meanings that can hold us captive.
